Photogenic, a division of Cherry Hill Programs (www.cherryhillprograms.com) offering souvenir photography at premier tourist attractions and landmarks across the United States, has announced the hiring of John Barbieri as National Director of Sales. Known as a leader in the retail imaging industry, John brings a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through 18 years of serving clients ranging from theme parks to presidential libraries.
John most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer and North America Managing Director of Picsolve after their acquisition of Freeze Frame.
“I am incredibly excited to take on this new opportunity to grow the souvenir photography division with Photogenic/Cherry Hill Programs”, said John. “Over the past 18 years I have been involved in and witnessed tremendous changes in the photo services industry and I have been blessed to work with some amazing partners to design engaging guest experiences that enhance the overall experience with digital imagery. In recent years, I have also seen a large portion of the photo services industry lose sight of my top priority: the service we provide our venues and guests. While we need to keep an eye on the future and design technology systems around emerging consumer trends, the cornerstone of what we provide is service. My commitment to great service is at the core of my decision to join Photogenic and Cherry Hill Programs. They are a company that offers boutique-style attention, an individualized approach, and a customer-centric environment. And, with their long-term investment strategy in technology from Cherry Hill Programs and Keystone Capital, the future is extremely bright.”
Steve Craig, CEO of Photogenic/Cherry Hill Programs added, “I am very excited to have John join our team. His leadership in the industry is a tremendous resource. His reputation for delivering a high-quality product and a high level of service is well-known and we are excited by his decision to join Photogenic."
