As we previously communicated to you, we continue to assess the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), remaining vigilant, and following all recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local authorities. We believe it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize two things: the health and well-being of our employees, customers and partners while also playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus.
As such, we have made the decision to close the Easter sets that are currently open, effective at close of business today March 12, 2020, and will not be opening any future Easter sets at this time. We will continue to monitor this situation and communicate all decisions regarding future Easter set openings in a timely and responsible manner.
This season continues to be unlike anything we have experienced in our 60 year history. As we navigate this time of uncertainty together, I want to reaffirm CHP’s commitment to providing our guests a magical experience. I hope that you and your loved ones are well, and we are here if you need us.
